Team
The Manhattan Gymnastics Academy competitive team is made up of young athletes, ages 6 to 22, whose common mission is to excel in the sport of gymnastics to the best of their individual abilities. The role of Manhattan Gymnastics Academy is to provide these youth with quality instruction and training in the sport of gymnastics in a welcoming but focused environment. It is also the responsibility of Manhattan Gymnastics Academy to provide a competitive experience in gymnastics at the local, state, and regional levels for the athletes to showcase their many skills. Each team member is expected to positively represent Manhattan Gymnastics Academy at every practice, every demonstration, and at all required team competitions throughout the year
Team competition follows the rules of the USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic Program. Levels were designed for the continued improvement of skill. Gymnastics Plus runs its competitive program with the support of the Team Boosters, an association of parents whose main goal is the support and enhancement of youth gymnastics.
Required routines in all womens gymnastics events. Specific gymnastic skill requirements are needed to progress to this level. They include but are not limited to, handstand forward roll on floor, pull over and back hip circle on bars.

Girls - Xcel Bronze
Required routines in all womens gymnastics events. Specific gymnastic skill requirements are needed to progress to this level. They include but are not limited to, handstand forward roll on floor, pull over and back hip circle on bars.

Girls- Level 3
Required routines in all womens gymnastics events. Specific gymnastic skill requirements are needed to progress to this level. They include but are not limited to, round-off back handspring on floor and front hip circle on bars.
Girls- Level 4
Required routines in all womens gymnastics events. Specific gymnastic skill requirements are needed to progress to this level. They include but are not limited to, front handspring on floor, cartwheel on beam, handstands on the beam and kips on bars.
Girls- Level 5

Tuition and Fees
Tuition and fees will be released and discussed upon acceptance to the team program.
Participation in our competitive teams is a year-round commitment. In order to provide continuity to our program, we require that tuition be paid year round. Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. Tuition fees are based on the contracted hours per week. The practice schedule is set up to provide opportunity for success at each level.
In addition each gymnast will be assesed a competition fee. This fee includes all meet entry fees for the year, coaching fees to have coaches travel to meets with the girls, team fees to enter team competitions at each meet and a USAG membership fee.

Girls- Optionals Level 6 and Up
Optional routines for competition in all womens gymnastics events. Specific gymnastic skill requirements are needed to progress to these advanced levels. Skills include but are not limited to back layouts, layouts with twists, giants, release moves, tsuk vaults plus much more.
